Lahore, Pakistan : Imran Ali, convicted of raping and murdering six-year-old Zainab and several others, has been hanged in the Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore on 17th October Wednesday morning.

Zainab’s father Amin Ansari was also present in the premises of the jail. Tight security arrangements were made around Kot Lakhpat Jail before the execution of Imran Ali.

Zainab was found dead on January 9, 2018 in Kasur district near Lahore several days after her  disappearance . She was raped and killed brutally .Her body was recovered from a heap of garbage near her house five days later.Imran was arrested two weeks after he committed the crime  that ignited nationwide protests in which two people died from police firing.

The police later collected DNA samples of 1,187 people from January 12 to January 23 to trace the accused.  On January 23, the police arrested Imran, a neighbour of Zainab, as his DNA matched not only with the DNA  samples collected from the body  of Zainab but also at least seven other victims.

However, on the next day, Imran confessed to raping and killing Ayesha Asif, 7 [died on January 7, 2017], Eman Fatima, 7, [died on February 24, 2017], Noor Fatima,7 [died on April 11 2017], Laiba Saleem, 7 [died on July 8, 2017], Zainab Amin, 7, [died on January 4, 2018] and others.

Adultery is no longer cirme now in India.

New Delhi 27th September 2018 : India's supreme court on 27th September Thursday decriminalized adultery in a landmark judgment aimed at upholding the right to equality and freedom, scrapping a law first brought in under British colonial rule in 1860.

In a unanimous judgment, the five-member bench of the top court struck down a law that meant a man who had sex with a married woman without getting her husband's permission could be charged and face up to five years in Jail if convicted .

"Adultery cannot and shoult not be a crime.  It can be a ground for a civil offense, a ground for divorce," Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra said while reading out the judgment.

While very few people have been  for adultery in recent years, the threat of charges has often been used in matrimonial disputes to put pressure on women, lawyers said. 

"Physicality is an individual choice," Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, one of the five-member bench, said in the ruling. The law was based on the concept that a woman loses her individuality once she is married, he said, adding, " adultery is a relic of past "

Husband Beheaded His Wife For Illegal Relationship In India

CHIKKAMAGALURU, KARNATAKA : A woman was beheaded by her own husband on Saturday at the Shivani railway station in Ajjampura taluk on the suspicion of her having illegal affair.

Accused Sathish saw his wife together with another person and chopped  off her head with a machete. He wrapped the head in a bag and rode his motorbike 20 km to reach Ajjampura police station where he surrendered before the police along with the severed head.
On seeing his wife together with another person, an angry Sathish threw the machete at the person. But the latter escaped and and fled the scene. The next target was his wife. He cut off her head and took it to the police station on his motorcycle.

Accused Sathish had married Roopa nine years ago after falling in love with her. The couple has two children - one boy and a girl.

KUALA TERENGGANU, 03 Sep: Two Malaysian women were caned  for having lesbian sex in violation of Islamic laws.
The women, dressed in headscarves, aged 32 and 22, had pleaded guilty last month to attempting lesbian sex, forbidden under Islamic law. They were sentenced to a fine and six lashings of the cane.One of them breaking down in tears.
Rights campaigners said it was the first time women in Malaysia have been caned for violating a syariah regulation which forbidssame-sex relations.
Sharia criminal procedure allows the court to determine where the sentence will be carried out, and requires that it must be witnessed by a number of other Muslims.
Malaysian women’s groups Justice for Sisters and Sisters in Islam called for a review of laws that allowed the caning of women.
A trans woman was beaten up by a group of assailants in Seremban south of Kuala lumpur on August 15th, in what activists said was part of a growing hostility towards gay and transgender people.

Rape case in Indian city Bhopal : tribal woman was compelled to watch porn.

One more hearing-and-speech impaired tribal woman in Madhya Pradesh has lodged a police complaint against the director of a hostel in Bhopal for allegedly raping her after showing pornographic material to her.
A case was registered here last night against Ashwini Sharma, the hostel's director, on the basis of the complaint filed by the 23-year-old woman, a native of Dhar district, Indore's Hira Nagar police station in-charge Mahendra Singh Bhadauria said today.
The victim, in her complaint, has accused Sharma of raping her after showing pornographic material to her, the official said, but did not divulge any further details.
The alleged incident occurred between December 2017 and February 2018, when the woman was staying in Sharma's hostel in Bhopal for her studies, Bhadauria said.
Based on her complaint, a case was registered under IPC sections 376 (rape), 377 (unnatural offence) and the relevant provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
The case diary was being transferred to the Bhopal Police for further investigation, Bhadauria said.
Sharma was arrested in Bhopal on August 8 after another 20-year-old deaf-and-mute woman lodged a police complaint, accusing him of repeatedly raping her during her stay in the hostel over the last three years.
So far, four FIRs have been lodged by the police on the basis of separate complaints from four deaf-and-mute women, including two sisters, accusing Sharma of sexually exploiting them.
The police had earlier said the accused used to run a hostel for hearing-and-speech impaired people in the Awadhpuri area of Bhopal.

Idlib , Syria : The number of people who died in an arms depot explosion in Syria has risen to 69, according to reports from a monitoring group.
Among those killed in the blast were a dozen children, the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) has said.
Three militants were also killed . Rescue workers used bulldozers to remove rubble and get people out of two damaged buildings.
 Five people were pulled out alive .
One of the buildings was scorched black after a fire followed the explosion
SOHR said the weapons depot was housed in a residential building in the northwestern town of Sarmada, in Idlib province.

20 dead and nearly 10,000 taken to hospitals as ongoing heat wave engulfs Japan

Twenty  people died and nearly 10,000 people were taken to hospitals for heat exhaustion or heatstroke during the week through last Sunday, as a heat wave continued to scorch wide areas of Japan.

Mercury reaches to the 40 degree Celsius  in central Japan. As intense heat is expected to continue, the Meteorological Agency has warned people to take precautions, such as drinking sufficient amounts of water.

  Pune , Maharashtra :   Parents and students Pune's Maeer's MIT school staged a protest against the school diktat to wear specific color underwear .

The school authority even specified the length of skirt to be worn by girl students.

Apart from this the school has restricted students from using the washrooms other than the specified time.

The girls are asked to wear either white or skin colour innerwear. The school has even mentioned that actions will be taken against the students and parents if they failed to abide by them .

Deadly Heat wave kills 65 in Pakistan

Karachi, Pakistan : Deadly heat wave has killed 65 people in Pakistan's southern city of Karachi over past three days . And it is feared that death toll could  climb .

Temperature hit 44 degree Celsius ( 111 Fahrenheit ) according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department , which is well above the average daily high of 35 degree Celsius for the month of May. 

The heat wave has coincided with power outages and the holey month of Ramadan, when Muslims do not eat or drink during daylight hours. According to the Edhi Foundation, which operates morgues and an ambulance service in Pakistan's biggest city, told the local media that the deaths occurred mostly in the poor areas of Karachi such as Korangi and Sohrab Goth.

In 2015 at least 1300 People died from heatstrokes in Karachi.

In a jarring contrast , Israeli forces shot and killed 58 Palestinians including a baby and injured more than 2700 during mass protests in the Gaza border, while just a few miles away Israel and the U.S. held a festive inauguration ceremony for the new American Embassy in contested Jerusalem.
 It was by far the deadliest day of cross-border violence since a devastating 2014 war between Israel and Gaza's Hamas rulers, and further dimmed the already bleak  bleak prospects for President Donald Trump's hoped-for peace plan.

Throughout the day, Gaza protesters set tires ablaze ,sending thick plumes of black smoke into the air, and hurled firebombs and stones toward Israeli troops across the border. The Israeli military, which has come under international criticism for using excessive force against unarmed protesters, said Hamas tried to carry out bombing and shooting attacks under the cover of the protests and released video of protesters ripping away parts of the barbed-wire border fence.

Monday's protests culminated more than a month of weekly demonstrations aimed at breaking a crippling Israeli-Egyptian border blockade. But the U.S. Embassy move, bitterly opposed by the Palestinians, added further fuel .

Malaysia : Prime minister Mahathir Mohamad says Anwar Ibrahim to be given royal pardon.

In the final spin to 48 hours of election drama , Malaysia's 92 years old new prime minister Mahathir Mohamad said that he had set in motion plans for a royal pardon for Anwar Ibrahim – the former ally who was sacked and jailed when Mahathir was previously in power and who could now become his successor .

The king  has indicated he is willing to pardon Anwar immediately. Mahathir told a news conference in Petaling Jaya. “We will begin the .. proper process of obtaining a pardon. This means a full pardon. He should be released immediately when he is pardoned."

The unlikely alliance of Mahathir  and Anwar has been one of the many unusual aspects of this election. When Mahathir was prime minister the first time round, between 1981 to 2003, Anwar was his protege and deputy, tipped for the top job until Mahathir thought he was getting too powerful. After a prosecution for corruption  and sodomy that was widely believed to be politically motivated,  he was jailed in 1999.

Woman arrested after allegedly killing 'bad luck cat' in washing machine in Spain

Police have tracked down the woman who posted shocking footage on social media of her killing a cat by putting it in a spin cycle in a washing machine.

The 19-year-old woman from Villarrubia de los Ojos in Ciudad Real now faces charges of animal cruelty.
During the horrifying video , the woman can be heard saying after the first cycle , "looks like people were right about cats have seven lives" before adding detergent to washing machine and putting it on another wash cycle. More than 300,000 people signed a petition on change.org to lobby the Ministry of justice to take the case to court.

After posting the video on social media, the woman then uploaded a picture of the cat from before the incident which said “the cat is now dead… Yes the bad luck cat " .

Chinese President wants screening more Indian movies in China

Chinese President Xi Jinping has seen a number of Indian films including regional films ,and believes it would be a good idea that Bollywood  movies come to China and vice-versa.

Pakistan interior minister Ahsan Iqbal shot during rally .

Pakistan's interior minister Ahsan Iqbal was shot and wounded in an apparent assassination attempt on Sunday 6th May 2018 as he left a rally in central province of Punjab .

The 59-year-old Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader was attacked during the party’s corner meeting  in Qasba Kanjrod area of his constituency of Narowal. A staunch ally of ousted premier Nawaz Sharif , Iqbal is one of the most senior figures  in the government as well as in PML-N.

Abid Hussain the attacker was arrested by Police . Local media reported that the attacker belonged to a religious party but his motivation was not immediately known . Police said that Iqbal was hit by a bullet on his right shoulder .

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan  Abbasi condemned the attack and called for and immediate report into the incident from top officials of Punjab province .

However the reason behind the attack was not immediately known .

What causes the sound of thunder ?

Thunder is caused by the rapid expansion of the air surrounding the path of a lightning bolt.
From the clouds to a nearby tree or roof , a lightning bolt takes a only a few thousandths of a second to split through the air . The loud thunder that follows the lightning bolt is commonly said to come from the bolt itself. However, the grumbles and growls we hear in thunderstorms actually come from the rapid expansion of the air surrounding the lightning bolt.

As lightning connects to the ground from the clouds, a second stroke of lightning will return from the ground to the clouds, following the same channel as the first strike . the lightning takes so little time to go from point A to point B, the heated air has no time to expand. The heated air is compressed, raising the air from 10 to 100 times the normal atmospheric pressure. The compressed air explodes outward from the channel, forming a shock wave of compressed  particles in every direction. Like an explosion, the rapidly expanding waves of compressed air create a loud, booming burst of noise.
 Because the electricity follows the shortest route, most lightning bolts are close to vertical .
The shock waves nearer to the ground reach your ear first, followed by the crashing of the shock waves from higher up . Vertical lightning is often heard in one long rumble. However, if a lightning bolt is forked, the sounds change. The shock waves from the different forks of lightning bounce off each other,the low hanging clouds , and nearby hills to create a series of lower , continuous grumbles of thunder .

*To judge how close lightning is , count the seconds between the flash and  the thunderclaps . Each second represents about 300 meter (984.25 feet )

* Thunder is not only heard during thunderstorms. It is uncommon , but not rare , to hear thunder when it is snowing . 
*Lightning does not always create thunder .

Opium Production has set record in Afghanistan

Afghanistan's area under opium-poppy cultivation has increased 63% since 2016 , rising to 810505 acres, while its potential opium production increased 87% to an estimated 9,000 tons — both records for the country despite years of anti-narcotics efforts.

There is no single reason behind the increases , according to the UN office on drug and crime.

Among the main factors driving the increase are corruption, lack of government control and security, and challenges to the rule of law, like political instability . Local issues , like a lack of job opportunities , low- quality education, and limited access to markets and financial services, also compels farmers toward opium cultivation.

The Afghan government has shifted its focus to combating anti-government elements in densely populated areas at the expense of rural areas, which may have also allowed cultivation to increase, according to the UNODC .

The UNODC recorded strong increases  in all of Afghanistan's major poppy cultivating provinces. Helmand alone saw a 79% increase and accounted for just under of half the country's total increase. About 60% of Afghanistan's opium cultivation takes place in the southern region, and all the provinces there saw significant increases .

Opium produced in Afghanistan is typically exported in raw form, or as heroine or morphine. Helmand, home to an estimated 80% of Afghaistan opium poppies , is called " big drug factory".

Seoul,South Korea : The leaders of North and South Korea agreed on 27th April to work to remove all nuclear weapons from Korean Peninsula and, within the year, pursue talks with the United States to declare an official end to Korean War which ravaged the Peninsula from 1950 to 1953.

At a historic summit meeting , the first time a North Korean leader had ever set foot in the South,  the both leaders vowed to negotiate a treaty to replace a truce that has kept an uneasy peace on the divided Korean Peninsula for more that 60 years .A peace treaty has been one of the incentives North Korea has demanded in return for dismantling its Nuclear Program .

“South and North Korea confirmed the common goal of realizing, through complete demilitarization, a nuclear-free Korean Peninsula,” read a statement signed by North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, and the South’s president, Moon Jae-in, after their meeting at the border village of Panmunjom .

Former Pakistan cricketer Imran Khan's third wife Bushra Maneka whom he had married couple of months ago , has reportedly returned back to her maternal home following a domestic feud concerning Imran's pet dogs .

Pakistan Thereek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan had secretly married his spiritual mentor Bushra Maneka , a divorcee who has 3 daughters and 2 sons from her ex husband .

According to a report of Times of Islamabad, Maneka had ordered the expulsion of Imran's pet dogs from his palatial house since they were interfering with her religious practices.


Another report has claimed that Imran also  had a skirmish with Maneka over the fact that her son with former  husband has been staying at Imran's Bani Gala residence, though it had been agreed before marriage that no one from Bushra Maneka's family would stay for a longer period of time at Bani Gala.

Heatwave in Karachi similar to 2015 expected this year .

People are trying to find relief from heatwave in Karachi in Pakistan.

The director of Karachi health office has issued an  alert to the hospitals for heatwave, saying the situation will be similar to 2015 this year in which more than hundreds of people lost their lives due to escalating temperatures .

The general notice was issued to the executive director of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre and medical superintendents of Civil Hospital and general hospitals in Korangi, Ibrahim Hyderi, Saudabad and Liaquatabad, Qatar Hospital in Orangi Town, children’s hospital North Nazimabad and Abbasi Shaheed Hospital among others.

The alert directed hospitals to keep their departments ready to cope with such a situation arise . They are also directed to establish heatstroke treatment  and stabilization centers to provide emergency medical treatment .

Facebook said on 4th April wednesday the number of users whose information was improperly shared with Cambridge Analytica is 87 million .

Facebook issued the number in a lengthy post by CTO Mike Schroepfer about its privacy changes, which include restricting third-party app access and deleting phone call and text information that's over a year old.

 Cambridge Analytica was accused of improperly gaining access to personal information of Facebook users, spurring legal probes and changes to Facebook's privacy policies.

Mark Zuckerberg CEO of social media giant, refused to rule out legal action against the British company and insisted that he remained the best man to lead the tech firm, flatly denying he had been asked to resign.

Malala Yousafzai returns to pakistan after 6 years .

March 29 : Nobel peace prize winner Malala Yousafzai returned to her native Pakistan on Thursday after  six years she was shot in the head by Taliban gunmen  for campaigning for female education in 2012.

She is expected to hold a meeting with Pak Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi .

At age 17, Yousafzai became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 for her education advocacy, becoming a global icon and education champion.

The trip is expected to last four days and she arrived with officials from her Malala fund .

Mark Zuckerberg apologises over Cambridge Analytica data scandal

Thursday 22 March 2018 : Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg has apologised  for mistake his company made in how it handled data belonging to 50 million of its users and promised tougher steps to restrict developer's access to such information.

The Facebook CEO broke his five days silence on the scandal that has enveloped his company this week .

The world's largest social media network is facing growing government scrutiny in Europe and the United States about a whistleblower's allegations that London-based political consultancy Cambridge Analytica improperly accessed user information to build profiles on American voters that were later used to help elect U.S. President Donald Trump in 2016.

Zuckerberg  said the social network  planned to conduct an investigation of thousands of apps that have used Facebook's platform .

 Micheal Cohen President Donald Trump's personal lawyer have claimed pornstar Stormy Daniels could owe more than $20 million in damages for violating a non disclosure  agreement that prevented her speaking about and alleged affair the US President Donald Trump.

The court document alleges MS Daniels real name Stephanie Clifford is guilty of at least 20 violations of the agreement's confidentiality clause and could face a $1million penalty for each violation.

Pornstar Stormy Daniels who filed a lawsuit against Trump earlier this month claims the nondisclosure agreement is void because Trump did not sign it himself . Instead  it was signed by the lawyer for the Trump organisation .

Stormy Daniels is a pornstar who allegedly had a sexual encounter with Trump. Daniels and Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen—a former attorney for the Trump Organization— arranged the $ 130,000  along with a nondisclosure agreement.  

Bangladesh Aeroplane crash in Nepal : What reason behind it ?

Kathmandu 14 March 2018 : Did faulty communication or technical malfunction cause the crash of Bangla star 211 at Trivubhan International Airport in Kathmandu ? On 12th March at least 51 people died when a US- Bangla airlines carrying 71 people crashed on abnormal landing in Trivubhan International Airport .

The case of Flight 211 seems different as per the audio conversation. “The weather, especially the wind is normal. The captain is cool and calm while communicating with the Air Traffic Control.

At this point, in the audio conversation, Nepali pilots on the ground are heard warning the ATC that the Flight 211 pilot seems disoriented and that he should be assisted by radar vectoring, as the visibility in the hills is bad.
Experts said that aircraft never crash because of on single issue. It is almost always a combination of factors. The mechanical breakdown on its own should not have meant the plane crashed, but could have been handled correctly by the pilots.

Therefor, statistics for the causes of aircraft crashes are not always clear .

The following statistics are a reasonable representation: 55 percent pilot error, 17 percent aircraft mechanical error, 13 percent weather, 8 percent sabotage (lightning strikes) and 7 percent other like ATC and ground handling.

Indian Actress Sridevi passed away at 54 in Dubai due to accidental drowning

 25th February Dubai : Legendary Indian actress Sridevi passed away here in Dubai . The death of Sridevi was not because of cardiac arrest as reported earlier . The actual reason of her death was accidental drowning in Bathtub .The actress was attending a family wedding in Dubai along with daughter Khusi Kapoor and husband Boney Kapoor.
Sridevi was the last female superstar in real terms Bollywood witnessed .Before entering  

 Bollywood, she worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films.

After completion of Post Mortem Analysis Dubai Police stated that the death of Sridevi occurred due to drowning in her hotel room's Bathtub following loss of consciousness .

Sridevi made her debut from in hindi films through Julie in 1975 . Sadma in 1981 established her as the leading lady in Bollywood film industry .

The actor is best known for her films Chandi , Lamhe ,Mr. India, Nagina and more in the 1990s. She also won the praise and awards for her recent film English Vinglish .

She has last seen in 2017 film MOM .

18 February Lahore ,Pakistan:
Pakistan PTI chief Imran khan tied the knot for the third time with Bushra Bibi also known as Pinki Pir in simple ceremony here in Lahore.

Bushra has already formally separated from her husband Ghulam Farid Maneka, s senior official of Pakistan Customs Service. Maneka has previously served as assistant collector, deputy collector and additional collector in different parts of Pakistan and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi last month approved his promotion to the BPS-21.

Bushra is around 45 years of age and has 3 daughters and 2 sons  from her ex husband .

There are contradictory reports on how this divorce actually came by but since Gulam Farid has already denied having any differences with Bushra and stated that the reasons of the divorce were spiritual, it gives credence to the report that Bushra one day told Khawar that she had  a dream in which Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) appeared before her and told her to get married to Imran Khan, which would not only remove all the hurdles in Imran Khan’s way to become PM but will also eventually usher in a golden era for Pakistan.

Whatever the truth Bushra and Ghulam Farid finally divorced .And Bushra became the third wife of former Pak cricketer and PTI chief  Imran Khan .

Pakistan 17th Feb 2018 :A Pakistani anti-terrorism court has sentenced a suspected serial killer to death for the rape and murder of a seven-year-old girl, a prosecutor said.
The girl’s murder ignited nationwide protests over allegations of government inaction, and a media campaign led to his arrest after years of him being on the loose.

Mohammad Imran, a local man who knew Zainab's family, pleaded guilty to raping and killing the little girl, reports The Associated Press.
Her body was found on a trash heap on Jan. 9 in the city of Kasur near Lahore, four days after she was reported missing.

Prosecutors say Imran, 24, is a serial killer who has also admitted to killing several other children

Bus driver Habibur 45, his helpers Akram 35, Shamim 26 and Jahangir 19 were sentenced to death . And Bus supervisor Safar Ali 55 was sentenced 7 years in Prison with fined taka 1 lakh .

Rupa's body was found on 25 August  in Tangail- Mymensingh highway  in Modhupur Upazila last year.

She was the student of Ideal Law College in Dhaka and also working in the marketing division of a company . Her work area was Mymensingh Sadar .

She was on her way to her workplace after taking the teachers' registration test in Bogra on that day.
 She was gang raped and brutally killed on moving bus of Chowa Paribahan .

Former Bangladesh Prime minister Khaleda Zia sentenced 5 years in prison for Corruption

Dhaka 08-02-2018. : A special court has sentenced former prime minister and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia to 5 years in prison for corruption case.

Amidst high security across Bangladesh judge Md Akharuzzaman of the special court-5 sentenced two times prime minister Khaleda Zia to rigorous imprisonment . Khaleda Zia along with 5 others was accused of embezzling Tk 21 million in foreign donation for the Zia Orphanage Trust.

In the same case Khaleda's elder son Tareq Rahman and four others have been sentenced to 10 years in Jail.

The court also fined Tk 2.10 crore each in the politically significant case ahead of the parliamentary election.

Four other accused are former BNP MP Salimul Haq Kamal and businessman Sharfuddin Ahmed, former principal secretary Kamal Uddin Siddique and Mominur Rahman, nephew of late President Ziaur Rahman.Kamal Uddin Siddique and Mominur Rahman have long been absconding.

PAKISTAN OUTRAGE : POLICE ARRESTED SUSPECTED RAPIST AND MUDERER OF ZAINAB ANSARI

PUNJAB JAN 23,2018 : Police arrested the prime suspect of 7 years of old  Zainab Ansari rape and murder case in Kasur district  in the central Punjab province in Pakistan .

The body of Zainab was  found in a garbage bin on January 9 , four days after she was abducted from her home Kasur district in Punjab province.

An autopsy revealed that she was raped and strangulated to death brutally  .

It was the 12th case of  rape and murder in this district in past year , Police said .

The suspect lives in same area where Zainab lived .The suspect has confessed , Police said .

The incident led to angry protest in all over Pakistan that resulted at least two deaths and several injuries .

In 2015 Kasur was in International headlines when hundreds of videos of child molestation surfaced .
And police arrested several members of  that racket involved selling child pornography in Europe .
Most of the victims were under 14 , including a six year old boy . Police said .
